A ranking engine built to make a buying decision, not to fill a page.

The premise was a search and comparison engine for consumer products, driven by written reviews rather than by scraped specifications. A buyer arrives knowing a budget and a category, and leaves with a shortlist.

We built the ranking model, the filtering, and the comparison views, along with an editorial back end that let the owner publish reviews that fed directly into the rankings.
